Samsung has appealed a preliminary injunction granted to Apple against the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, reports FOSS Patents.
As expected, Samsung's lawyers worked hard to define their appellate strategy concerning the Galaxy Nexus injunction that was ordered on Friday afternoon Pacific Time. They just gave notice of their appeal to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and, like in the Galaxy Tab 10.1 case, filed a motion to stay the injunction for the entire duration of the appeal or at least until the Federal Circuit decides on a possible stay.
It's unlikely the judge will stay her injunction for the entire appeal; however, she might do so until the Federal Circuit decides on an injunction.
You can read the arguments Samsung makes in its appeal at the link below...
Apple is humiliating itself on the global stage with these legal games. Samsung and others are looking upon this lone corrupt judge as a joke, a sign that Apple is losing and getting desperate.
Instead of answering the Samsung Nexus with a brand new amazing phone, they make a mockery of the American market with petty patent squabbles.
Remember, it is about execution of a great business plan, not who can sue over which patents. Apple investors should be worried.
More unimpressive news. You could have written this when the ban was first approved, and simply waited until today to slip in the date. Everyone expected it, the only thing that delayed it was the Judge's schedule. How you report on how RIM plans to 'improve it's software', or how McDonald's plans to 'sell more burgers'?
