@Question is correct. Woz has been riding his fame for 30 years kinda like Paul Allen without the billions. Woz has turned into a rather pathetic fat slob.

Why do we care so much about Woz's opinions? This is a serious question. I know he was the cofounder of Apple but what is he significant for now?

Simply because he has been into consumer tech his whole life, and is famous for it. He is an apple fan, but is not a fanboy- he does use/test/like many differest devices from differnt sources.That makes people value his opinions on things.
