Blendtec has posted a video demonstrating how the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 holds up to their blender.

It's time for Tom to get a new phone. So which one should he get? The new iPhone 5, or the Samsung Galaxy S3? You know how he will decide. Which blends best.

People, it's an advertisement for their blender and it always goes viral for a cost of about $1,300 or less. If you ask me, that's smart advertising.

the reason they do this is for the advertising how much advertising they have got from this for just the price of two phones is worth it

and there are always people who think that the manufacturing costs are most important in the world. what about the shipping costs? what about the costs to develop iOS? and what about the service costs?? seriously i dont get it, its not just the manufacturing costs!

Is that what you tell yourself when paying your credit card bill?

You are obviously not a savvy shopper. You probably buy stuff on emotion or the "Bling" factor.

How much more does it cost to package and ship a 64gb phone over a 16gb phone? 0

IOS is a derivative of Mac os. Mac os sells for $19.99.

Servicing? Apple doesn't "service" them. They swap modules or throw them away. They charge such an exhorbant amount for out of warranty repairs that people don't do it and end up buying a new one.

Do you have an apple device? Call them up and pretend it's broken and see how much they quote you to fix it.

It is interesting to compare how the build materials of the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 respond differently to the blender blades.

the only difference I saw. was that metal tends to go down while plastic fly to top. because of the wind force generated by the rotating blades.

But the iphone5 is lighter than the galaxy so shouldn't it have been flying around more?
