Atualmente é possível atualizar para o iOS 7 sem precisar que seu iPhone UDID esteja registrado em uma conta de desenvolvedor.

Nós fomos primeiramente alertados sobre isso pelo leitor da iClarified, Will Peterson, que atualizou dois iPhone's 5. Nós testamos e confirmamos que está funcionando no iPhone 4S, em um novo iPhone 5 e outro iPhone 5 já utilizado.

Para fazer o update precisa-se de uma copia da firmware do iOS 7 (ipsw), pressionar e segurar a tecla Option (Shift no Windows) e clicar em Atualizar no iTunes. Selecione a firmware do iOS7 na nova janela para instalar.


Não é claro o porque disso estar funcionando. Somente iPhones registrados por desenvolvedores supostamente deveriam estar liberados para a instalação de uma firmware beta. Talvez a Apple tenha retirado essa checagem devido a grande demanda em seu servidor no momento.

- Não faça isso caso você queira permanecer com jailbreak. Talvez não seja possível o ter de volta.
- Não faça isso se você usa algum tipo de ativação por hack. Talvez não seja possível o fazer novamente.

I bought this phone from somebody, after i restored it....it is stuck on the activation screen and asking for the other person's apple id. I lost the number for the other guy whom i bought it from....but this phone is not stolen or lost...phone has clean IMEI.

If I have the iOS 7 now, when the official update comes out, will I be able to update it to whatever comes out or will it mess up my phone? I believe I have the iOS 7 Beta 5 right now and haven't updated it to the current one so if I wait till the 18th is it going to totally screw up my phone?

I put my iPad 2 (6.1) into DFU mode, restore with option+cmd and it worked first try.

i have updated my iphone 4s right from my phone on the last two betas with no problems at all. im not a developer, and i havent bought into buying one either. just so people know it can be done with no problems.

one quick question was looking in to buying a subscription for the $99 from apple but website is down. have already updated to IOS 7 the free way to see if i like the software before buying. How long do you believe it will take before apple is up and running again??
