iOS 7.0.4 is Safe for 7.x Users Waiting for a Jailbreak

Posted November 14, 2013 at 8:22pm by iClarified
MuscleNerd has confirmed that iOS 7.0.4 is safe to update to for those who await an iOS 7 jailbreak.

Those at 7.x waiting for JB, maybe treat 7.0.4 as exercise in restraint. Won’t affect JB if you slip up, but test your ability to avoid it!

…but for those enjoying the 6.x JB, avoid 7.0.4 . There’s no going back (always worth saying that for sake of JB newbies)

The last update we received about the possibility of a jailbreak was in early October when Planetbeing tweeted, "We're still working hard on the jailbreak. May have all the pieces at this point (but not certain yet)."

To be informed as soon as a jailbreak is released please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS.

buster cherry... is at a dead end job that promises him a 401k when hes 65, but in reality when he retires he will get squat because he will have to work at wal-mart as a greeter to make ends meet, that's his definition of a good life. stop being ignorant and lets just support the jailbreaking scene.

Telling others to get a life yet you are posting a comment on an article that doesnt apply to you since you dont think the jailbreak will ever be available. Man sounds like you have the best life, when you are telling others to "get a life" are you referring to a life like yours? Because it really sounds like you are living the good life.

They're not waiting to release the jailbreak my son.. They actually have not figured out HOW to jailbreak Ios 7. There's no jailbreak after 6.1.2, so if your assumption was true, they would have release the jailbreak when 7.x hit the scenes.

Ok lets break down your comment here. First you claim that "they actually have not figured out HOW to jailbreak iOS 7". If this was true then why would they even talk about it? How do YOU know what they have and dont have? Are you a developer? Do you know the first thing it takes to prepare a jailbreak? .... Exactly, my point is you have no idea what you are talking about. When a new major iOS is released they ALWAYS release minor updates to fix any bugs in the beginning hence 7.0.1, 7.0.2, 7.0.3, 7.0.4 yet nothing is different in any of these versions. These are minor updates to fix small bugs that only affect a percentage of iOS 7 users. Now wouldnt that be retarded to release the jailbreak right when iOS 7.0 came out since Apple is going to send multiple minor updates right after? Lets say the jailbreak worked for 7.0 only, 7.0 was only out for a few days before 7.0.1 came out so if you were late to update to iOS 7 and your device went straight to 7.0.1 you would be screwed. The way these jailbreakers work is you have to wait until Apple releases an update that will be around for a few months. Such as iOS 6.1.3 was the latest for at least 3 months. So wait for a major update such as 7.1 then release the jailbreak so that everyone has a chance to jailbreak, even if they purchase a new device and cant determine what iOS the device may have. Its called strategy but Im guessing in your case your parents didnt know what that word was when they created you.
