The iPhone Dev-Team sudah mengkonfirmasi bahwa aman untuk men-jailbreak iPhone OS 3.0.1 dengan menggunakan RedSn0w rilis terakhir

Anda bisa menggunakan redsn0w v0.8 yang kamu rilis beberapa minggu yang lalu untuk men-jailbreak update 3.0.1 yang rilis hari ini. biarkan iTunes mengupdate atau merestore iPhone anda ke OS resmi versi 3.0.1 lalu jalankan redsn0w. salah satu "trik" adalah saat redsn0w bertanya identitas IPSW yang digunakan, arahkan pada file IPSW 3.0, jangan ke IPSW 3.0.1. Setelah men-jailfreak, install ulang ultrasn0w 0.9 jika kamu perlu meng-unlock.

Update OS iPhone 3.0.1 di rilis oleh Apple untuk membenahi celah SMS yang memungkinkan hackers untuk mengambil alih kontrol iPhone anda. tidak ada perbedaanfunsi yang mencolok.

Hello, I just have this 2G iPhone which is jail break and still runing on 1.1.1. Can I upgrade straight ahead to 3.0.1? Will there be any issues? Could you suggest some ways to do it? Thanks in advance :-)

I have a question. I was wondering if I upgrade my already jailbroken 3gs from 3.0 to 3.0.1. Will it affect my phone? Will I have to re jailbreak it?

I had the same question. Then, I ventured and updated. The jailbreak remailed intact but I had to re-unlock my phone (the procedure of unlock i remains the same as recommended by Dave. Please post a message again after you try.

Hi. I just jail broke my 3GS and everything seems to be good except I don't have cell phone or 3G signal. I won't pick up a carrier or make calls. Am I missing something. I am new to this and I'm not sure if I missed something I was suppose to do. PLEASE HELP!

I can't find redsnow v.8. I have a 2G phone with T-Mobile Unlocked and JB on 3.0. I would like to go to 3.0.1. Am I able to use iTunes Version 8.2.1 to upgrade and the use the instructions given for Redsnow using version .7??????????? Please help.

Hi, Im Confused!! I Have A 2G Iphone and have now updated to the OS 3.0.1 and have lost my Cydia and other updates!! do i need 2 download the 3.0.1 IPSW from this website? or can i just use the 3.0 IPSW as i did before? Pease Help!

what you need to do is download 3.0 and redsnow. open redsnow and tell it that you to look for 3.0 . That my friend will load cydia again. Kenny.

I have a problem. My 3G phone was jailbroken on 3.0, and I updated to 3.0.1. But, I had apps in the Categories folders before doing so (mistake). I jailbroke again, and now, these apps are not in the home screen anywhere, even after restoring. It appears that they are on my phone, but somehow I cannot see them anywhere. This is extremely important, because among these apps was settings and others that are obviously crucial to the phone operation. Also, the battery percentage is still next to the battery. So, there are signs of the previous jailbreak even after restore, but now I can't access any apps. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

.....and now I know exactly how :)))) As first thing you must have program categories. Then you must erase everything what you have in categories and make everything like it is the new one. And then you make new categories and just add programs you already have in your Iphone and you will see it will work. :) Have a nice day

the questions is, if after jailbreaking using 3.0 ips the bug fixes will still be in effect? Cause thats the whole reason why I upgraded to 3.0.1

Hi there! I have updated my iPhone to 3.01 firmware and am trying to jailbreak it using redSnow for 3.0. Only problem is it does not recognise the IPSW firmware when I go to shift restore or when I use the redSnow.exe. What do I do now? I have done this a few times and its always the same problem, there is an error with the IPSW. It says to pick the 3.0 IPSW but it doesnt recognise it. Thanks in advance!

try connecting your phone to itunes and when its in put it in dfu mode and restore it and let itunes do the update for 3.0.1 then re-download redSnow again (maybe the file has an error) then try again and make sure you click the correct ipsw tell me how it goes i did it without a problem works fine

do exactly what RedSnow is prompting you to do. install the update to 3.0.1 through ituens (make sure you back up your Cydia apps first) Download the IPSW (you should still have it if you upgraded to 3.0 and are jail broken) If you get hung up during the rebooting phase in RedSnow unplug your cable and plug into another USB port... then it should reboot. and enjoy being JailBroken

Have you tried donwloading the file with Firefox? Because I've seen in different posts that Safari decompresses it so you don't get the file you should be getting...if not check the tutorial in this site to download the one you need again.

i've retried more than 5 times but the same prob i left it at waiting for reboot for more then 5 hours but nothing happens tried evrything, there is something wrong !!!

make sure you updated itunes and you have the correct ipsw...plug it in and turn on itunes and put it in DFU mode restore it and let itunes do the update after that jailbreak and unlock it...if that fails try to do it on another computer maybe?...if that still dont work then i'm sorrry i dont know anymore...but give it a try but make sure all the programs are correct i did it and it works fine

I repeated 5 times. I went to Settings/General/About and check Version. Always I found that it is Version 3.0 (7A341) instead Version 3.0.1 (7A341). I first restored the phone 3GS using itunes FW 3.0.1. I checked and found that final version was 3.0.1. Then I restored using Dev Team Redsn0w, the version was 3.0 (I guess it was supposed to be 3.0 version because I am restoring with 3.0 version software). Please tell me how it will be 3.0.1 (when we are restoring using Dev Team's iPhone2,1_3.0_7A341_Restore, this is based on FW3.0)

try this plug in your phone and have itunes open...then put the phone into DFU mode a restore button should show and you could restore it...after let itunes update it and do the jailbreak after...try that tell me if it works =]

@ DAZEDNCONFUSED okay my phone was stuck on waiting to reboot too and i thought that it wasnt turning on...but try holding the power and home button at the same time for about 30 seconds...and that should turn it on...tell me if that works...but still have the same problem with the jailbreak and waiting to reboot...if anyone can help with that thanks

Well, I waited to get the go ahead from the dev team and well, I just restored to 3.01 ( wondering if there really is this big threat) and then jailbreaked to redsnow and all went smooth. Guys, remember to use apt back up from cydia to save yourself a days worth of putting all your apps back on. Again we thank you for all your hardwork

dude,try not to unzip the file but change the file name to "apple.ipsw". I can see the icon now

I think you should redownload the file and after it is finish, no need to extract the file. Just only change the file name ( FILE TYPE ) to .ipsw. If you do it correct, you'r see the white box icon.

You can update through itunes. let it lock up your phone then unlock with redsnow, uses the 3.0 ispw. when you are done you should have 3.0.1 os, just look in the settings to confirm. Just be prepared to lose everything

actually dont update your phone first and do a windows search for the file and it should come out in the itunes/iphone update...make a copy of it and store it somewhere else it should workl

ok had to click last leaf and for 3g got this: https://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=4301 it has no redsn0w 0.8 only 0.7.1 end leaf for 3gs and pirate bay have 0.8 but my concern is lack of check-sums on the blog so i cannot verify download

Worked for me, but not quite like a charm. Seems a lot buggier than my 3.0 Pwnagetool jailbreak/unlock on my 2G; it's frozen several times in just a day where my original Jailbreak didn't freeze once, and the camera stopped working after taking 4 pictures today. Kind of concerned.

So I'm trying to JB my 3G after 3.0.1 and when I run redsn0w and look for the ipsw file it isn't anywhere. i've downloaded the zip file from this site but can't find the file. Kinda lame I know. Any help is appreciated.

when you download the ipsw file,, i think by default, the file type box will say winzip or something like that... hit the down arrow button there, and choose all files, and then put .ipsw at the end of the file name and that should do the trick for you... good luck..

When you download the link it is an entire folder not just a file. Do I ipsw the whole folder? If not which specific file? Thanks again. Also I'm doing this on a mac, does that make any difference?

if you already have the 3.0.0 installed then i suggest you do a search in windows of that file it should come out in your itunes folder not too sure about mac though it should be in your itunes/iphone something you might want to keep a copy of it hope this helps =]
