How To Find Your IP Address on iPhone [Video]

Here's how to find your iPhone's IP address, the address it uses on your Wi-Fi network, and how to copy it. You'll also see where your router's address and your IPv6 address are, and how to find the public address that websites see.

We tested the steps on an iPhone 18 Pro Max running iOS 27.

Check Your iPhone's Local IP Address in Wi-Fi Settings

Step One: Open Settings and Tap Wi-Fi

Open Settings and tap Wi-Fi.

The Settings app outlined on the Home Screen.

Step Two: Tap the Info Button

Next to the network you're connected to, tap the info button (i).

Step Three: Find and Copy Your IP Address

Scroll down to IPv4 Address. Your iPhone's IP address is next to IP Address.

To copy it, touch and hold IP Address, then tap Copy.

Copy outlined in the menu that opens on IP Address.

Your Router and IPv6 Addresses

Below IP Address are Subnet Mask and Router, which is your router's address on the network. Your iPhone's IPv6 address is next to IP Address under IPv6 Address.

Your Public IP Address

On most home networks, the address in Wi-Fi settings is private to that network: your router assigns it, and Configure IP reads Automatic. Websites see your network's public address instead. To find it, search for what is my IP in Safari.

Limit IP Address Tracking

On the same page, Limit IP Address Tracking hides your IP address from known trackers in Mail and Safari.

Okay, so I can't login in my iPhone (bad combination of Move2Unlock and iLock... D'oh!) and I need to SSH into my iPhone and try to delete it! But that means I can't get to my IP address with my iPhone. Does anyone know how to get my iPhone's IP address with an Apple/PC/something else? This is very important! I need my iPhone for very much important things, I just need help! Please... GlitchHero9724

I get to this stage and I can see my wireless router listed. I then hit the blue circle for details and am only given the IP and subnet mask.. My router and DNS fields are empty. I'm not sure what the problem can be. I have reset my router and am able to connect to it using other devices (eg PSP, PS3, xbox 360) but when it looks connected on my iphone I launch Safari and it says there is no access to the internet. I am trying to unlock my 2.2.1 and i get stuck at this spot..

I could not run this process from Venezuela, when I execute de winscp and filed the ip adress, root and pasword it shows an error mesagge showing that the access is denied, I can not download the Iworld either from here. Please advice thanks
