Check out this video comparison of the iPhone 6s Plus camera and the Sony Xperia Z5 camera.

Comparing the front-facing selfie cameras, the 4K/23 megapixel rear facing cameras, auto-focus and audio of the iPhone 6s Plus vs Xperia Z5 Premium for both video and photos with example shots indoors, outdoors and in low-light.

The Sony Xperia Z5 is currently the highest ranked mobile camera on the DxOMark Mobile charts with a score of 87. The iPhone 6s has yet to be scored. Let us know which camera you think does best in the comments.

I had calibrated my iPhone 6 plus screen with datacolor Spyder4Pro. It brought out the true colors in my phone. What my camera sees my screen shows. I still like my phone even 6s arrived.

This comparison is meaningless because Xperia Z5 is built for serious photography in which one has to do settings and click a perfect shot ..... all this is unlike Iphone camera which is built merely for uploading pics on social media and whatsapp! This is clearly a comparison between a Jet Fighter (Z5) and a Glider (Iphone) period.

His voice is clearer and deeper on the z. The iPhone voice is ok. But in comparison it's a little more high pitched on the iPhone. Also I the "blue" on his jacket is more accurate. Look at the background of the green leaves. The z actually has the correct green color of those trees. The iPhone leaves are a little yellowish which isn't true at all. And this guy's face is so yellow on the iPhone. I don't understand how you like yellow more than white or blue

Because iPhone captures more brighter color compared to the Sony which doesn't do well the more darker the pictures and video is even if you consider contrast.

lol no buddy... I think you got brighter light confused with saturation. The iPhone is a bit higher on the saturation side giving off a yellow tint. Saturation can cause a pseudo-brightness when seen by the untrained eye. Anyways if i were to take a selfie to put on my Facebook account, i'd probably choose the z to do it since it makes me look less yellow. But all in all I wouldn't say the iPhone does a perfect job at taking camera shots. Its OIS is clearly way better than the z. pretty stable.

That's not what I meant. My point was why iPhone is yellow because of how much light it captures depending on how bright the area is and how it ties down to good contrast.

It is sad to see how some people here are making jokes about race. This gentleman took his time to give all of us a great comparison of two great products. I have own iPhones since the first one came out, but always like to see other good products and compare them. This was a great informational video. Thanks for sharing. I don't understand how he prefers the blue'ish appearance of his black jacket over a natural black? Is he color blind? The z5 has, what a 23-24 mega pixel and can't balance color and lighting? Lol...IPHONE wins!

Don't tell me. You'll be 20 years ahead from now and still think this phone will win against the rest after its release. Good luck figuring that out. To be clear, this guy highlighted the iPhone the most and mentioned how much the z5 backed out on many low light comparisons. How about a reality check because this is it.

I don't see anything wrong with iPhone audio, but I do happen to use microphones that actually work when plugged into the aux port when making YouTube videos.

He mentioned only 2 things better on the z5 compared to the rest of the video touting iPhone more than half of the entire video here overall. In the end, he did say which ones people would prefer for the right camera and didn't say which one he would prefer.
