According to Macbug.de an internal iPhone developer tool was leaked onto a website for about 1 hour.
I don't speak German; however, dive has posted a translation of the news article on Hackint0sh.
"According to an internal source at Apple the iPhone Developer Tool has been leaked. The program was nearly available for one hour on a website.
Should this information be true, an otherwise impossible software unlock for the iPhone 1.1.2/1.1.3 ootb (baseband 04.03.13_G) would be possible, because this tool allows to reprogram the iPhone and has to come with the "masterkey"(I'm not sure about that translation..)."
