MapLock is a GPS anti-theft device by Who-Rae which recently won Popular Mechanic's Editor's Choice Award at the SEMA car show.
You love your portable GPS unit. Trouble is, so do thieves. And even if you remove the device from the windshield and store it out of sight, the telltale suction cup marks on the glass are like an open invitation for unscrupulous passers-by to break into your car to try and find your GPS in the glove compartment. Who-Raes Maplock Cables your portable GPS to the steering wheel, preventing thieves from smashing your window to look for it.
