Apple to Take Small Percentage of Revenue MacScoop has been informed that Apple may take a small percentage of revenue from the sale of iPhone applications through iTunes.
Applications will have access to EDGE and Wifi MacScoop sources confirmed that Apple will not prevent third-party applications from accessing EDGE and Wifi.
Mac OS X required MacScoop is predicting that Developers will have to use Mac OS X Leopard to write applications for the iPhone. Apparently an enhanced iPhone version of XCode should be made available for free to all ADC (Apple Developer Connection) members.
First applications, Lotus and Exchange support MacScoop is expecting Apple to release a few initial applications for the iPhone. These would most likely be created by a large corporation like IBM or Electronic Arts. Also, it is expected that Apple will reveal Microsoft Exchange Support on the iPhone.
