Punflay has announced the release of Rafter 1.3 for iPhone and iPod touch. Rafter is an engaging game with blocks and spheres which have to be dropped with precision to strike a mine. Spread over 21 plus 20 challenging levels, it tests the user's attention and skills to strike the mine as the timer ticks. The game has the scores tied with the number of moves made. The equation is simple: Each level has a fixed number of moves and the score increases when you solve the game using the least number of moves.

Features:
* One of its kind physics based game in which the player can sketch objects of required sizes
* Choice of selecting the type of sketches between circle and rectangle.
* Open feint enabled to share the scores
* 41 mind blowing levels with interesting designs.
* Witty and highly addictive levels targeting players' drawing skills.

The game has got some excellent reviews so far:

148apps:
I really enjoyed Rafter and it is an engrossing experience. It is fun, inventive, and the levels require a lot of thinking. I feel that the 31 levels are more than worth $0.99. Give me some DLC packs with extra levels, and I'll be thrilled; even now, Rafter is still an excellent physics game and well worth your time and money.

Appsmile:
Visually, Rafter is outstanding. The hand-sketched graphics are inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci's blueprints. Actually, Da Vinci is a recurring theme throughout the game. The idea is that players will "invent" their way out of design dilemmas by sketching various solutions. The result is a beautiful presentation that we wish more games would emulate. Controls are quite responsive and accurate. Rafter allowed us to draw hair-line rectangles and teeny tiny spheres. The physics element is flawless too.

Slapapp:
If you're a fan of brain teasers and puzzle games then you're surely love Rafter. The game, created by Emantras Inc, looks deceptively plain in pictures, but once you see the app live in person you realize how great the graphics, animation/physics, and game-play really are. I loved Rafter within just the first couple of minutes I played it. It makes great use of the iPhone and iPod Touch multi-touch technology and requires you to tap into your creative side to come up with solutions.

Crazymikesapps:
The developers at Emantras Inc have created a very nice puzzle app called Rafter. The music is decent, sound effects good, and graphics overall are good. I wish there were more than 21 levels to this app, but I am sure a future upgrade will bring more levels to puzzle my mind.

Appversity:
I have major respect for those game developers that take on the challenge of creating a great physics puzzle game. Think of all the education they're using, computing different variables of weights and integrating the effects of gravity, or water, or movement. It's astounding. Add EMANTRAS Inc. to the long list of people who I respect as they give the App Store another physics app in Rafter.

Appstruck:
At last, I have a new favorite game - a favorite not only for its excellent presentation and ability to be picked up on the fly, but a favorite for its original spin on a classic setup. Rafter, by Punflay, immediately besets a puzzling situation amid the drawing board likeness of a Leonardo Da Vinci sketch, complete with a weathered, paper palpability and the faded designs of some, no doubt, genius of the burgeoning industrial era.

Pricing and Availability:
Rafter 1.3 costs only $0.99 (USD) and is available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Games category. Rafter also topped charts at US app stores as well as other countries like UK, Canada, Italy, and Mexico. The developers at Punflay have also been adding 10 levels at regular intervals to add more value to the app. It will soon feature 100 levels for the same price of 99c.
Quite a steal!
