Time Machine Now Supports AirDisk Backups!

MacRumors is reporting that after installing todays Time Machine and Airport Updates, users are now able to do a Time Machine backup to their AirDisk.

Essentially this turns an Airport Extreme into a Time Capsule. Simply attach an external USB Drive to your Airport Extreme and it can be used as a backup destination for Time Machine.

This is a long awaited feature that was originally to be part of the Leopard release. It seems Apple has finally made it happen!
