Estos son los pasos a seguir para encontrar el ECID (Exclusive Chip ID) de un iPad 3G usando una Mac.


Paso 1
Asegúrate de que el iPad está en modo de recuperación. Si no sabes como hacer utiliza el siguiente instructivo: this tutorial.

Paso 2
Haz click para seleccionar "About This Mac" del menú Apple en la parte superior izquierda de la pantalla.


Paso 3
Haz click en el botón "More Info.." de la ventana que aparezca.


Paso 4
Se abrirá la aplicación "System Profiler". Elige USB del menú Hardware de la izquierda.


Elige el dispositovo "Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode)" del árbol de dispositivos USB que aparezca en el panel derecho.


Paso 5
Copia (marca y presiona Command+C) el ECID del campo del número de serie.

This actually doesn\'t work. after recovery mode, the system profiler still shows the 40 digit string on the serial number line. Is there another way to find the ECID for mac?
