Apple Releases HomePod Software Update 15.6 With Siri Support for Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese

Apple has released HomePod Software Update 15.6 bringing Siri voice recognition support for Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, and Cantonese.

Software version 15.6 adds Siri voice recognition support in Mandarin Chinese (China mainland, Taiwan), Cantonese (China mainland, Hong Kong), and Japanese (Japan). This update also includes performance and stability improvements.

You can update the software on your HomePod via the Home app. If you don't have a HomePod, you can purchase the HomePod mini for $99.
