Pixelglow Software has launched Instaviz 1.9 to support Apple's new iPhone 4 and iOS 4.0 system update. The first and best iOS diagram sketcher is now enhanced for the iPhone 4 high-resolution retina display and iOS 4.0 multitasking functionality. The new version also features output to external displays such as video projectors and VGA monitors.
First released in December 2008, Instaviz has become one of the most popular diagramming software on the iOS platform, with its simple sketch-to-create interface and deep feature set. Enthusiastic users have purchased over 6,000 copies, upgraded over 12,000 times and awarded it 3.5 stars out of 5 stars over 154 ratings on the App Store.
Terry White is the Worldwide Design Evangelist for Adobe Systems Inc. and co-author of The iPhone Book. He loves the way Instaviz works. "Here's what I like about it, I don't have to worry about picking tools to draw the various shapes - I have a tool right here: it's my finger! "
Instaviz 1.9 has 12 different bug fixes and enhancements. Users can now copy multiple diagrams to paste them in other apps, and also open and preview diagrams within other apps such as Mail. The new version offers faster display and scrolling, especially with larger diagrams.
"Our users wanted to see their diagrams writ large on a video projector," says Glen Low, author of Instaviz. "I believe they'll be happy with the simple interface I've designed for this. Plug in the VGA connector cable and it just works."
Supported Languages: * US English, Chinese, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish
Pricing and Availability: Instaviz 1.9 is $9.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Business category. The single download will work on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. Existing users can upgrade for free.
