i am using an ip4s and this is not a clone. android had voice commands way before ios did. so to say s voice is a siri clone is misleading. shame on you!

@don ---- The only 'productive' thing YOU could do on a web site such as this one, is to miss-inform silly people like you (that think they know stuff). You should also know that you are considered an uninformed counterproductive spammer for the rest of us. Besides, just by reading your false statements, I can see that you're just a little weak lier, that haven't even used voice commands on iPhone 4S and Android, because then you would know that Android's voice commands were only covering 1% of the capabilities of Siri. But then, you wouldn't know, would you, you little spoiled brat!...

Wow... fan boy much Fact... android had voice first... Fact... apple never made siri.. they got it from a 3rd party and then blocked all other iPhones from using it so they could market there already out of date iPhone 4s. Fact... apple fan boys will take anything apple wants to give them I had an iPhone 3g/3gs/4 and I was fed up of it all after that I'm not getting screwed by apple anymore but if YOUR happy to I suggest you bend over.. :0

@No ---- [Fact No.1:] Apple was THE FIRST MOBILE MAKER IN THE WORLD that embended in its phones such an 'intelligent' voice recognition. NONE of the other solutions could give you such advanced answers as Siri did. ---- [Fact No.2:] Apple didn't buy a complete iPhone-ready solution, but pieces which they assembled and put graciously together, resulting to the unique Siri ---- [Fact No.3:] iOS is still THE ONLY mobile OS in THE WORLD that features such smart voice recognition. It's Samsung that released their own solution, NOT Google for Android. Therefore, Android still lags behind, although they are the ones that updated recently to Ice Popsicle... Cream... Whatever! ---- [Fact No.4:] You are a zombified fAndroid, envying the iPhones and its iOS. And SHUT UP! You don't have the right to deny it or excuse yourself! The fact that you're commenting in a site named iClarified just proves my aforementioned statements. ---- Now shove that Ice Cone up your rear and hit the road Jack-ass!...

Lmao speaking of "third party" so loud n clear. Let me ask you what is android to Samsung then? Samsung owns android and develop android? Hahha not even. At least apple developed its own os. Samsung doesn't even have 1. If Samsung can develop its own os and get it to be as popular as ios and android then I'll recognize It as equal to that of apple. For now it's an inferior product, n a super inferior company

lol shut up? wow nice come back fan boy, apple is done and they know it... after all they can no longer come up with new stuff so they buy 3rd party's. also see you never commented on apple locking out siri on the older iPhones to sell the out of date iPhone 4s, dose it hurt much? and why do I cum back to this site after leaving apple? I like to keep up to date with all hardware.. how menu android sites do you go too? :-)

Apple is far from done. Although jobs was the ring leader for the greatest company in the planet, there is still a group of individuals that worked with him, learned from him, inspired by him to develop bigger and better things. Osx, iOS, Siri, etc, are all items that apple has made their own, yea osx is basically a form of Linux running on unix, but still a solid product. iOS same thing. Jailbreak your iPhone to get siri on your older devices, stop crying about issues with older iPhones, they were once the shit at a given point and time. I have a iphone4 and it's been running Siri. This Samsung crap they have here is another reason why haters gonna hate. And to all you droid lovers out there... How does it feel to stand in the shadow of greatness, we (apple) are your father!!

Lol keep on grabbing apple not allowing older iPhones to use Siri. How bout Samsung. Galaxy s2 can't even use android 4.0. At least iPhone 3GS can use iOS 5.1 and d ability to further upgrade to any future iOS. Now wut?

PCaddictt - May 5, 2012 at 9:41pm
you need to do your homework I've got a galaxy s2 and its running android 4.03 perfectly and it's still runs circles around your iPhone , and before you say it I've got a 4s and an ipad and a 3gs and setting siri aside I've not really seen any major advancements in apple products at all , a little bit here and there and another 600 smackers please . The fact you tell others to jailbreak there phones to get the best from them tells me all i need to know apple are not making the greatest products int he world and are certainly not listening to its customers at all.

Hahah no then u need to do ur own hw. The Samsung galaxy s2 cannot easily upgrade to android 4.0 until Samsung obtain all d permissions n shit. N when u upgrade it's not even that easy compared to upgrading an iOS device. Then how about the galaxy s1. Don't tell me u can officially upgrade it to 4.0 as well.

Also, to address the argument relating best product or most innovative, the #1 innovation of the modern smart phone that distinct itself from previous phones is the AppStore. Now tell me the AppStore is not an original apple's idea. Android pretty much used apple idea of d AppStore to create its droid market crap. Even though android has a higher total amount of users compared to ops devices, d total amount of apps on d AppStore is more than that of d android market. How do u claim android to be better when it has lesser apps but more users?

Yeah, drop dead you fucktard fandroid. There would have never been Android as it is today if they hadn't seen the iPhone first, then stole every aspect of it. So Apple bought the Siri development company, so what? Microsuck bought the company that developed Kinect, then claimed it as their own idea. Google steals everything that goes into Amdroid. Voice control was out on the 3Gs which was 3 years ago fucktard. Google don't develop shit. They buy patents and companies to hog their ideas. Go cry to them about withholding technology. Enjoy your second rate piece of copied shit, you tight ass troll.

Do your homework dickhead. Voice control came out on the iPhone 3Gs back in 2009. When did Android bring out theirs?

All that I know is what Samsung did was no where near being significant. They claim to have all these kick ass features and grab all the credits for it. But 1 thing, even if it's a kickass feature d credits go back to google who developed android. All cell phones features would come from d operating system. All samsung did was put all d hardware parts together and install android, n boom here is d best phone? No way! That's like me and so many out there who can put computer parts together n simply install windows to operate it. That's so easy and can't be consider innovative. like I said in many previous posts, if Samsung can develop its own os and get that os to be as popular as the ios and android, then yes I'll recognize samsung as equal to that of apple.

that's why Steve jobs said he would spend every penny against Android, its a stolen product, even if they make it beet than Siri, still copying apple

That's why US Patent law needs to be completely redesigned. This looks like an exact copy of Siri, right down to the exact same screen design. This is surely heading to 5+ years of expensive lawsuits, which won't help advance the market at all. We need meaningful patent laws the courts can use, rather than a "first to claim something that's obvious to everyone" approach.

You are spot on, how can a company (not just Apple) be allowed to patent thoughts that are so low level i.e using a finger to swipe accross a screen to perform an action. It is too basic and stifles other uses
Kroo
Kroo - May 6, 2012 at 1:31am
Do some homework dickhead. Apple patented the multitouch screen, and the UI as well as the gestures that are used to operate it. It was never done this way before. Then someone else just comes along and lifts all your R
