Apple and Amazon have agreed to end their lawsuit over who had the right to user the App Store name, reports Reuters. Apple agreed to end the lawsuit with the promise of Amazon not to countersue.

U.S. District Judge Phyllis Hamilton in Oakland, California, on Tuesday ordered that the case be dismissed at the companies' request.

Earlier this year Amazon won a dismissal of a portion of the lawsuit as well.
