So if we jail broke with 1.0.0 is there any point updating? Any bug fixes or anything?

Right click then open. It will then give you an option to open the application.

If your on Mac -system preferences- security&privacy- general tab-allow applications from: choose "everywhere".

Thanks for updating the jailbreak program. That Chinese stuff made me a bit apprehensive that a back door might be put in by them. Now feel a bit more safe about it all

I've jailbroken my iphone 5s without seeing TaiG on the screen. Do I need to use this 1.0.1 version to re-jailbreak my phone? Can I do that without restoring?

Umm, what makes you think that it does not have Cydia? It DOES have Cydia 1.1.8. Saurik released 1.1.9 but 1.1.8 will definitely work to install what few apps/tweaks are working and allow you to upgrade to 1.1.9.
