It is a complete scam! Tried it today May 4th, 2009. All they do is give you the instructions from yelowsn0w! Outrageous! Stay away from, unless you want to lose (just as me) 30 bucks! Shame on them!

They are thieves. I buy from them "the software". It is QUICKpWN. And the charge me with 29 USD. It doesn't work. I don't know who this guys are, but I claimed back my money and nothing. only automatic responses: "we received your email and a customer support will contact you soon". An they have 24/7 service support. What a bad joke. SO, stay aware from this kind of sites who stolen other people work and sell it for their wealth.

Please DO NOT PAY for the software. It's a fake.

All I can say is if you paid for this.... I'd be contacting the BBB and reporting a fraudulent website!

I tried contacting Digital River (the people that charge the credit cards for then), but I was unable to do so, using their cumbersome contact page. They should at least know they are aiding and abetting. Perhaps they could pull the plug on them as a customer.

I also tried it and it was a scam. It's not true they can't unlock it. I email them for my refund and It did not go thorugh. Well I leave those folks to God

their intentions are working and they are making money off the desperate people. this tends to happen very often in the iphone world. just be careful, when a "new" website starts claiming they can unlock it yet it's not on a big forum such as "engadget" or "gizmodo" it's probably a scam. If it were legit the world would have heard of it by now and very likely it would be free.

It's a scam. They are selling YellowSn0w, which does not unlock 2.21 currently.
McGu - May 4, 2009 at 12:37pm
Have you tried it?

Jorge Asch - May 4, 2009 at 12:40pm
Yes. I decided to spend the $29.95 too see if it was really true. They sent me a link to download QuickPwn and instructions to install YellowSn0w. Their website also says there's a Money Back Guarantee. We'll see how that goes.
Mcgu - May 4, 2009 at 12:42pm
Ok, thanks! Hope you get your money back!
Marc - May 4, 2009 at 12:42pm
on HoFo they said they tried to email about a refund but the email they offer gets no reply. Many people on their say its a fake and they dont get their money back at all.

Can I use this software to downgrade baseband 2.2.1 to 2.2 with BL 5.9..Thanks
Jobe - May 4, 2009 at 5:31pm
No you can't. 2.2.1 is the firmware version. You can downgrade it to 2.2, but it won't take any effect on your baseband 2.30! Not with BL 5.9 at this moment! So don't buy this cr*p!
