Apple Announces That iOS 8 Adoption Has Reached 52% [Chart]

Apple has announced that iOS 8 adoption has reached 52%. The percentage was measured by the App Store on October 27, 2014.

On October 7th, the company announced that adoption of iOS 8 was at 47%, just 1% higher than the company reported previously on September 21st.

I'm not sure about jail breaking and stuff but my 8.1 is still a little glitchy and apps seem to close on their own. Even this one here. Plus landscape keyboard is very slow switching back and fourth. I'm still on 5S though.

ios 8.1 still has some crashes also whatsapp that sometimes take ages to send a freking photo.almost all thae apps that i used crashes with ios8.1 hope they get it fixed soon.

jailbroken ios 7 is waaaaaay better than ios 8 stock. to this day, i dunno how people use iphone on non jailbroken/stock ios. if you take my jailbreak away ill be on the next best thing: a Samsung phone

You both are it's what newer iOS devices can support. Iphone 2g even can't run 7.

I 2nd that jailbreak comment, i plan on upgrading soon myself once the Jailbreak environment is a little more stable for iOS8

That is exactly why. It happens every major iOS release. I updated my iPhone 5 from 7.1.2 to 8.1 as soon as I heard there was a jailbreak. Then I updated my iPhone 6 to 8.1 too
