FileMaker Releases 'FileMaker Training Series for FileMaker 14'

FileMaker, a subsidiary of Apple, has announced the FileMaker Training Series for FileMaker 14, an in-depth training guide to help you create FileMaker solutions that run on iPad, iPhone, Windows, Mac and the web.

The free FileMaker Training Series: Basics for FileMaker 14 is targeted at beginners, while the low-cost FileMaker Training Series: Advanced for FileMaker 14 offer intermediate to advanced users instruction to build compelling customized business solutions using the newest version of FileMaker, including exercises and downloadable activity files.




FileMaker Training Series: Basics for FileMaker 14 (FTS: Basics) focuses on the features and benefits of the FileMaker Platform with special attention to the newest version, FileMaker 14. Students will learn how to build a sample FileMaker solution from start to finish. FTS: Basics is available for free on the FileMaker web site (pdf format) and the iBooks Store. It is available in English now and will be available in the following languages on June 30, 2015: French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Dutch.

The FileMaker Training Series: Advanced(FTS:Advanced) offers a series of nine training modules with activities, exercises, demos and videos covering a comprehensive set of topics designed to help customers master the essentials of FileMaker solution development. FTS: Advanced is targeted at intermediate to advanced developers, but anyone who creates solutions with the FileMaker Platform can increase their knowledge from these time-tested materials. This series is a key resource for becoming a FileMaker Certified Developer.

FTS: Advanced will be available to FileMaker Developer Subscribers (FDS) as part of their subscription ($99 USD subscription fee). It is also available for purchase for $19.99 USD on the FileMaker web store (pdf format) and from the iBooks Store both with downloadable activity files and videos. French, German and Japanese versions will be available on July 28, 2015.
