Facebook Mentions App Gets Updated With Messaging, Landscape Live Video Recording, More

Facebook Mentions, an app only available to verified public figures, has been updated with some new features and improvements.

Mentions is a better way for actors, musicians, journalists and other influencers to stay in touch with their followers and the people and things they care about on Facebook.

What's New In This Version:
- We’ve added messaging to Mentions! Now you can reply to your Facebook messages from the Mentions app
- Mentions feed has a new look and you can now filter mentions by topic and by who they're from - public figures, the media, or everyone
- Go live from another angle - now you can record live video in landscape as well as portrait mode
- We've updated the live broadcasting experience, added the ability to save your finished live video to Camera Roll, and added a high quality upload option for your video post

Mentions 4.0 also includes improvements for speed and reliability. As other new features become available, we’ll highlight those for you in the app.
