Apple is now selling a Lightning to USB-C cable which can be connected to your computer or the 29W USB-C power adapter for faster iPad Pro charging.

This USB-C cable connects your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with Lightning connector to your computer’s USB-C port for syncing and charging. You can also use the cable with an Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter to take advantage of the fast charging feature on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

You csn buy several 24 watt chargers, and use the included cable. The charge will be close to the usb-c charger for much less

Tried using iPad 12w charger to charge my iPhone 6plus. It cut the charging time in half. Better than the included 5w iPhone stock charger. I am using now the 5w charger to power my usb desk fan. Hehehe! For the new cable it might work. Those who tried let us know. Cheers!

My name says it all about you! The email alert from I marigold didn't go off or alerted me thus reply and no, my iPhone didn't explode, granted I was using the 5W charger and I was done in under 10 minutes.
