The Instagram app for Apple Watch is no longer available.

The company confirmed to iPhoneAddicts that the app was removed from the latest update to Instagram for iOS.

The Instagram app for Apple Watch will no longer be available as a stand-alone experience once users upgrade to Instagram version 39 on iOS, released on April 2, 2018. I won't miss the insta app on the watch because it's perfect on the iPhone with one hand use controls and of course the way the UI is designed. I can't imagine how you can fit that all on a watch. I do like the watch and the app, but some things just don't mix. It's like combining spaghetti noodles with peanut butter.

Because it's made for something that works perfectly size wise and based on however much space the control can be organized in a way. Apps can try to expand their horizon on some level until they realize that it's not how they turned out or their's too much for small space to work with especially since phone and tablet cameras are the advantage to Instagram. With that said, they and the watch are not the problem. An app killed off from a product means nothing other than their was no success or their's too much to make use of in a certain way. Basically your "point" is invalid.

The point being what just because it didn't work out for a social media app? Not everything can be made for every device you know but it doesn't automatically make the device bad. Maybe not all users use Instagram or whatever yet they have their preferences.
