We will be providing coverage of Apple's September 10th special event at the Steve Jobs Theater beginning at 10:00am PDT / 1:00pm EDT.


We're likely to see the launch of three new iPhones, a new Apple Watch, and more during the much anticipated keynote.

While not a major redesign, the next generation 'iPhone Pro' or 'iPhone 11 Pro' is expected to get a significantly improved camera with wide-angle, telephoto, and ultra-wide-angle lenses. A new Smart Frame feature will purportedly let users reframe photos after they've been taken. The front camera is also expected to get a boost to 12MP.

Other improvements include a faster A13 processor, upgraded Face ID, larger batteries, ultra-wide band support, an 18W USB-C charger, better waterproofing, shatter resistant glass, and better video recording capabilities. Apple is not expected to introduce Apple Pencil support and it appears the long rumored bilateral wireless charging feature is out. Additionally, the next generation iPhones are expected to drop 3D Touch.
