Apple has posted its Transparency Report for the first half of 2019 revealing information about the requests it's received from both government and private parties.

Apple is very seriously committed to protecting your data and we work hard to deliver
the most secure hardware, software and services available. We believe our customers
have a right to understand how their personal data is managed and protected. This
report provides information regarding requests Apple received from government
agencies worldwide and U.S. private parties from January 1 through June 30, 2019.

According to the report, government agencies made 31,778 requests during the period covering 195,577 devices. Apple says it provided data for 26,051 or 82% of those requests.

Notably, Germany made the most requests of any country by far. It made 13,558 requests, nearly three times the USA which was the next closest country with 4,796 requests.
