Apple has told employees to work from home today amid a concerns over the coronavirus outbreak, reports Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

Apple is encouraging employees in Silicon Valley to work from home today if they can as an “additional precaution.” Its local retail stores remain open.

The request comes after new guidance from Santa Clara County yesterday which also recommended that businesses in the area cancel or postpone large events.

Apple has to yet announce its plans for WWDC this year. The developer conference is usually held in June and could be cancelled.
