Speaking of Macs and iPads, I'm hoping Apple’s next external monitor—destined to be about half the price of the Pro Display XDR—launches in the coming year.


The 32-inch Retina 6K Pro Display XDR currently costs $4999. It's also available with nano-texture glass for $5999. If you need a stand, that will set you back an extra $999.

The Pro Display XDR is way out of the feasible price range for most customers, forcing them to go with third party displays like the LG UltraFine instead. Rumors have suggested Apple could finally unveil new monitor this year; however, even at half of the price of the Pro Display XDR as Gurman anticipates, the display would start at $2500.
