i just dl spirit and connected my iphone but its not changing the ok button so i cant click it anybody else have this problem?

Open iTunes and plug your iPhone. Make sure iTunes recognizes your iPhone. Then, open Spirit and proceed.

Hi ! I have an iPhone 3G 8GB 3.1.3 I unlocked it with redsn0w and had to downgrade to 3.1.2 but got no signal .Now I tried Spirit to see if I got any signal and nothing, any ideas ? Thank you.

3.1.3 (modem 5.12) cannot be unlock yet. You may have successfully downgraded to 3.1.2 but the firmware does not downgrade to 5.11 (unlockable).

Wait until unlock for firmware 05.12.01 is out. You can not unlock this firmware on 3g or 3GS iphone. Simple.

I've jailbreak with Spirit, work perfectly. I install the ipa from Installous , after I sync to itune without transfer purchase, my apps gone. I try to reinstall from Installous, it doesn't appear. I try to install from itune, it won't work too..anyone can help??

Jailbreak is successful if Cydia is installed. You will get invalid sim card for locked iPhones.

Hello can somebody tell me, i have 3gs 3.1.2 (7D11) 05.11.07 This models of the iPhone 3GS have a fixed bootrom which requires you to connect your device to the computer each time you wish to reboot. Have Spirit the same problem or I wount need to connect my phone everytime???? please help!!!!

spirit is an untethered jailbreak so once jailbroken you can turn it on and off as many times as you like

Your phone must be factory unlock before u can jb with spirit

Factory unlock means that the phone is originally unlock by manufacturer, so that u can use any network/sim card. This type of phone usually can be bought at local telecom provider or apple store. If your phone cant detect ur sim mean that your phone is locked, and currently there is no unlock software for 3.1.3. What you can do? Just wait for those genius to come out with unlock version.

It´s done!!! what happened here was that in Costa Rica there is only one mobile phone company and it´s government controlled... a friend of mine gave me one sim card from AT&T, the pay to go kind alike... and it worked!!!! now it´s jailbreaked and waiting for the unlock thing.... thz!!!!!!

How did you deal with "connect to itunes" and "emergency call" Im trying to jailbreak and can do it.... and getting a message "sim card not supported carrier something"...

I just upgrade to fimwr 3.1.3 because of reboot loop and trying to jailbreak with spirit but stil getting error code: 1 ... just updated my itunes to 9.1.1.12 and still getting this problem... anybody with a step by step process to clarify this matter....thz a lot!!!!!!!

Your only option to jailbreak 3gs is Spirit. Redsnow only jailbreak 3gs 3.1.2.

Hi guys..pls i need help! I got 2 iphone 3gs ..both were 3.1.2 when i bought them...with blackrain i was able to do a tethered jb so if my battery runs out i must jb again by connectintg to the pc...my problem is ..i upgraded one of them to 3.1.3 and am stuck dead there without jb or unlock as a windows user. secondly i have been using the second one for a while until few minutes ago i just downloaded spirit and attempted jb thinking i will get a ppermanent jb and now my iphone is stucked in restore mode and when i try to restore it gives me error....blackrain wont even jb it again as well. my bb is 05.12.07...pls help and advice. Just download the ipsw and restore with it via iTunes. There is no reason, really, to upgrade to 3.1.x though.

that is not posible anymore... itune won´t let you do it...I tryied several times and figure that out....

get an AT&T sim card or jus borrow it, turn your iphone on and right after the connect to itunes logo go out you are ready to jailbreak it!!!!! that´s it!!

Sorry guys for my silly question if so..., but may be somebody can answer it for me, I have 3Gs with OS 3.0.1 bootrom 04.26.08 (week 37) jailbroken with RedSn0w and I want upgrade to 3.1.3 because of some apps that I need and those are for 3.1.3 only, I don't care about unlock, I don't want to change my provider anyway, so may be someone can teach me step by step on how to upgrade to 3.1.3 and have it jailbroken untethered off course, will RedSn0w do the job or I'm gonna need Spirit, and is it possible to upgrade without changing bootrom and how to do those things...??? Please do not ignore my may be stupid question but I'm not so advanced with things like this. Thank you.

to upgrade to 3.1.3 just connect your phone to a computer and open itunes. itunes will tell you a new firmware is available if you want to upgrade. Click yes and you are done. After compleitng this process, follow the instrcutions to jailbreak your phone using spirit. Now the second part is very complex because you need a MAC computer to create a custom firmware to preserve your baseband but updating your firmware (3.1.3). If you are not very good with computers then you will need professional help on a MAC computer.

i need help. I was using black rain in my 3.1.2 3gs iphone. I mistakenly tried spirit directly. Now i am stuck in the connect to itunes screen. I have my Shsh captured using autoshsh as per ur guide this morning before i tried to use spirit. I tired to using ireb 3.1.2 it didnt work, it didn't get the white screen.
