Apple Seeds watchOS 26.1, tvOS 26.1, and visionOS 26.1 Release Candidates [Download]

Apple has released the first Release Candidate of watchOS 26.1, tvOS 26.1, and visionOS 26.1 to developers for testing. The build numbers are 23S36 for watchOS, 23J580 for tvOS, and 23N48 for visionOS. The updates likely contain bug fixes and performance improvements following the public launches of the new operating systems last month.

The update follows the major release of watchOS 26 last month, which introduced a refreshed 'Liquid Glass' design, an AI-powered 'Workout Buddy,' and smarter proactive assistance.

For Apple TV, the tvOS 26 update brought the Liquid Glass design to the big screen, alongside functional enhancements to Apple Music Sing and FaceTime.


The visionOS 26 update for Vision Pro introduced several new spatial experiences, including persistent widgets, spatial scenes that make photos feel more lifelike, and enhanced Personas for collaboration.
