Apple has launched a full App Store experience on the web, giving users a way to browse and discover apps for all of its platforms directly from any browser. The completely redesigned site, now live at apps.apple.com, replaces the previous landing page with a feature-rich interface that mirrors the native App Store on iPhone and iPad.
The new web portal features a dropdown menu in the top-left corner, allowing users to switch between dedicated pages for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision, Watch, and TV apps. This marks the first time a centralized and platform-specific browsing experience has been available on the web.
The site includes a full implementation of the "Today" tab, offering the same editorial curation, top charts, and featured collections found in the native app. This brings a key app discovery feature to the web, allowing users to explore curated recommendations and special events without needing to be on an Apple device.
App product pages have also been overhauled with a media-rich interface that showcases screenshots, version history, and other details in a layout optimized for web viewing. The new design aligns with recent developer-focused updates, such as the expansion of custom product pages, which can now surface directly in App Store search results. Previously, Apple's web presence for the App Store was limited to individual app listing pages, with no central site for content discovery.
