Steps to upgarde Iphone 4s from IOS 5.1.1 to IOS 6.x

I have a jailbroken iphone 4s on IOS 5.1.1. I want to upgrade it to IOS 6.x. Could you suggest the steps to do it along with an option of reverting back to IOS 5.1.1 if required?
