You obviously don't understand the intended target market for this product... This is meant for people who can't go without tethering and therefore need it to be available all the time. If you jailbreak your iphone you can't update it and if you need to update (say if you're a developer and need to make sure your app works in the new firmware or you just like the new features) then you loose your tethering capabilities... For developers and constant travelers who find tethering essential $30 a year is DEFINITELY worth the price. Especially considering that the only real alternative to having secured tethering available at all times in all firmwares is by paying AT&T $30 a month to do so... Mywi is great, but its not for everyone and you can't assume that all people are like you and have the same needs as you do.

So how long have you work for this company. This is only good for people who don't know about jailbreaking... Heck for $2 bucks you can get TetherMe without all the bells and whistles of Mywi. Period.
