Apple is giving every MobileMe subscriber as of today a free 60 day extension. Below is the email subscribers are receiving.

To recognize our users' patience, we are giving every MobileMe subscriber as of today a free 60 day extension. This is in addition to the one month extension most subscribers have already received. We are working very hard to make MobileMe a great service we can all be proud of. MobileMe didn't work for me at all, it wouldn't sync my contacts or calendar from Outlook 2007. I followed Apple's instructions twice and then I just gave up
Just read apples page about more info and found the following .. Am I eligible for the 60-day extension?
You are eligible if you are a MobileMe member whose account was active as of August 19, 2008 at 0:00 Pacific Daylight Time.
What if I am currently in a free trial period?
If you were in your free trial period on August 19 at 0:00 Pacific Daylight Time, your free trial will be extended an additional 60 days.
