If you need a quick and easy way to resize your dock without having to open System Preferences you can just click and drag.

Move your mouse over the separator between your applications and your stacks. The separator looks like a highway stripe or crosswalk. You will notice your cursor changes to a horizontal line with an up and down arrow.

Click and drag the cursor up and down to make the dock bigger or smaller!
