Apple Will Officially Kill Ping on September 30th

Apple has officially decided to shut the door on Ping, its social service for music.

Today the company also announced that a new iTunes is coming in October and will feature a dramatically simpler and cleaner interface that keeps your favorite iTunes content at the forefront.
