Shalom Levytam is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of iClarified, an independent publication covering Apple news, software updates, and practical how-to guides. He launched the site in 2008 and has since written more than 40,000 articles on iPhone, Mac, iOS, and the broader Apple ecosystem.
Before running iClarified full-time, Shalom worked as a developer and systems administrator. That technical background—ranging from iOS app development to database design and network infrastructure—shapes the way he approaches his reporting. He prefers to test things himself, break them apart, and explain what’s happening under the hood, whether he’s writing about jailbreak exploits, firmware restoration, or major platform transitions.
