Samsung has revealed that it will unveil the next iteration of its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4, at Mobile World Congress in February, reports The Korea Times. The device would hit shelves in March.
The official said that the smartphone, due out nine months after the May debut of the Galaxy S3, will be more than enough to curb Apple's latest iPhone, compatible with long-term evolution (LTE) networks.
The phone is expected to support LTE and sport in-house Exynos-branded application processors and quad-core chips. The OLED display will reportedly increase to 5-inches in size from 4.8-inches.
Notably, one executive said, "Samsung is asking Apple to pay more to use its mobile application processors produced at its plant in Austin, Texas. The release of the S4 means more market share for Samsung as it is the only firm that can guarantee on-time delivery, output commitment and better pricing for mobile application processors."

Probably they are going to copy the Iphone5
Camera.
make 25% thinner add 6 docks.
you know what I mean!!
They suck.that tells you they are not on the on their game.
If they had a product that was safisfatory they wont worry about releasing another model within 6 months
That knocks the resale value and pisses the customer off.
Desperate

Android phone get obsoleted very quickly!!

When one company releases a product just to copy the latest of release of another company, the said released product is already obsolete. Poor Sammy, they doesn't know anything but copy things.
I really wanto to see some real innovation from Samsung. They usually have good products now we are expecting different products. But that can't be possible if they still use Android, because Android is a copy of iOS.
So, there is no change for real innovation here.

i think iphone 5 will let apple down (although 2 million units sold in 24 hours !) changing the Dock connector has pee'd me off, as i would have to have an adaptor or change all my idevices. well might as well try the Samsung s3 or s4 next.

the big red fruit company's Legacy is coming to an end.

mvillarreal - September 17, 2012 at 8:42pm
Yeah, they will eventually, but not in the near future. Not before Apple becomes the fisrt company with a Trillon Dollars marketcap.
Nothing is forever. People will say that Apple is going to fall for years until they actuallyu do, and after that they will say they were right

Mavarick - September 17, 2012 at 2:41pm
Wooooow, this is proof that the Galaxy S 3 wasn't enough to compete with Apple, Samsung is doing too much.
0
Ricardo - September 17, 2012 at 2:57pm

If apple come up with 4.8 iPhone, there is no way Samsung can compete with it .
0
Stevenk - September 17, 2012 at 6:06pm
Sure. Apple will definitely come up with a 4.8 inch iphone. Just that it will be called iphone7 or iphone7s. Plus it will be for sure sometime in 2015. Moreover, the 4.8 inch iphone will be 4.8 inch taller like how iphone5 is 4 inch taller. Because it will can still be used in one hand. Get my point? :)

Making a phone bigger is a no brainer. Making a phone smaller, portable, usable and lighter is breakthrough. That's the real innovation. Innovation in engineering design, production process and technology used.
If samsung keep adding things and hardware to their phones, soon they will be line kindle fire. I can imagine the Ganaly S8 with a 15" display. Hehehehe
