Samsung Says It Has No Plans to Settle With Apple

A top Samsung executive says the company has no plans to settle with Apple, reports the AFP.

The statement comes following Apple's announcement that it reached a settlement with HTC.

"We have no such intention," J.K. Shin, the head of Samsung Electronics' mobile unit, told reporters on Wednesday when asked if Samsung would seek a similar settlement.

Samsung -- the world's top mobile and smartphone maker -- was ordered by a US jury in August to pay Apple $1.05 billion in damages for illegally copying iPhone and iPad features for its flagship Galaxy S smartphones. It has appealed the ruling. Since then, two separate rulings by courts in Japan and the Netherlands have dismissed Apple's claims of patent infringement.

Samsung more than doubled Apple in smartphone shipments for 3Q12, according to an IDC study.

Would you just listen to each other. Your all say apple this, samsung that. They are as bed as one the the other. I have lost of apple products. But this year did not buy iPhone 5 or iPad mini. After Jobs os gone :-(. Apple really went to shit. They bring new products with not much changes. Like they say now we have panoramic future in iPhone 5. BULL SHIT. That future was all ready in iPhone 4s. Just not being turn on. Now maps. Worst think I ever got from apple. IOS 6 turn my iPhone 4s and iPad3 to shit. They just put a new products just to bring something new. And in the mean time make shit lot of money. Why would I buy iPad mini when the technology in that is not as good as iPad3. Just because it is smaller. Wort out of all of this is people are suckers and buy apple product. Because the are Apple.

Apple is only changing/adding a few applications and finally woke up to what we all have been wanting is a bigger screen which Samsung & others have been doing for quite some time already. I have 2- 3gs iPhones & refused to buy any of their newer phones because of NO real changes except to make it harder & harder for them to be jailbroken & unlocked. They have lost they way & try to make money by suing other company's but copy from others at the same time. By by apple .....

Sure samshit sold more phones than apple. But not because of how good that shitty phone is but because the iphone 5 is so hard to get due to its availability.

Samsung copied some feature like Apple does, nobody is perfect! Also the website you listed, is completely ignorance because that person think apple is the king or superior, the fact apple is claim stuff from developer as its own. It is completely wrong!!!
