Google Details Most Popular Searches of 2012, Posts 'Year in Review' Video

Google has released details about the most popular search terms for 2012 and posted its 'Year in Review' video.

Notably, the iPad 3 was the fourth highest trending search for 2012, the iPhone 5 was the third highest trending image search. The iPad 3, iPad Mini, and iPad 4 were the first, third, and seventh highest trending consumer electronic searches, respectively.

In the U.S, the highest trending tech gadget searches were for the iPad 3, iPad mini, and Samsung Galaxy S3 with the iPhone 5 in ninth place. In the U.S. Phones category, the iPhone 5 placed first followed by the iPhone 4S, and then the Samsung Galaxy S3.

For U.S. apps, Temple Run topped the list of trending searches, followed by Instagram, Google Play, Draw Something, and Logo Quiz.
