Apple's iPhone and iPad Rollouts Get Mapped [Infographic]
MacStories has mapped out the international rollouts for each iPhone and iPad model giving us some insight into how fast Apple's new products reach customers.
Taking a look at the charts below we can see that the iPhone 5 had the fastest debut with 31 countries getting the device within 16 days of the announcement. However, its availability flatlines for quite some time until spiking up to a high of over 100 countries in the last month of the 110 day chart.
The iPad mini had the fastest tablet start launching in 34 countries just 10 days after the announcement.
Notably, the last two iPhones and 3 iPads all became available on the Friday around 9 to 10 days after they were announced.
