Foursquare has updated its iOS app to make it easier to find your friends that also use the service.

Over 25 million people use Foursquare to make the most of where they are. Our free app helps you find great places based on where you and your friends have been. Discover what’s nearby, search for what you’re craving, and get deals and tips along the way.

Features:
✓ Share and record the places you visit.
✓ Get personalized recommendations and deals based on where you, your friends and people with your tastes have been.
✓ Search for anything (from 'free wi-fi' to ‘dumplings’) or browse popular categories.
✓ Discover insider tips and lists from local experts, brands, and celebrities.

What's New In This Version:
Find the places your friends love with Foursquare.

When you're looking for a place to go, a recommendation from a friend is way more useful than a long review from a stranger. In this version, we made it even easier to add friends. So you don't have to call all your local buddies when you want to remember the name of that amazing Chinese restaurant that somebody mentioned a few weeks back (It was Fu Run! Get the lamb chops and caramelized taro cubes!).

To find and invite friends on Foursquare, just go to your settings on your profile tab and tap "Find Friends."

You can download Foursquare from the App Store for free.
