SquareTrade, a company that provides third party warranties for electronic devices, reveals that 51% of iPhone accidents happen around the home. The top five danger zones in the home are the Kitchen, Living Room, Bath, Driveway, and Bedroom.
The iPhone's owner causes 69% of accidents. 9% of owners have dropped their iPhone into the toilet, 6% of owners have left their iPhone on top of their car and driven off, and 5% have put the iPhone in the washing machine.
The liquid most commonly spilled on the iPhone is water, followed by: soda, beer, and coffee/tea.
