Horace Dediu of Asymco posts a dramatic chart that shows hows iPhone and Android are consuming their competition.
The chart is reportedly based on comScore data obtained by surveying thousands of people. It says Apple has 36.3% of the U.S. market which may be low. Business Insider notes that "looking at smartphone activations reported by carriers, Apple share of the U.S. market is significantly higher than 36.3%".

The chart is bullshit.. It does not show how much the total market is growing, thus it may be, that Android and Apple are not consuming anything, just the others are not growing as fast..
