Wrong - refurbished can mean simply a returned item - a replaced screen - or a item that had some hardware or software issue that Apple fixed and tested. Last year I bought 12 itouch devices and sent them overseas... 4 which i personally used for over 6 months - which happened to be refurbished. Not one problem with refurbished devices. Spread your useless knowledge else where.

Refurbished doesn't mean crappy. You could argue the other way around: Even partially used means, it's burned in and will likely last longer than a completely new device. Servers that lasted for multiple years will likely last even longer. Well known truth between admins. Beside of that I bought several refurbished devices. Never had any issues and they work perfect even after >2 years.
