Images of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 928 for Verizon have leaked online via @evleaks and been confirmed authentic by The Verge. The Lumia 928 is a tweaked version of the 920 that is slightly thinner, has an OLED display, and supports simultaneous voice and data.

The Verge can confirm that the image is in fact genuine. We understand that Verizon is still planning to unveil the handset this month, but that the company will not be using an aluminum frame for this particular device as originally reported. Nokia is said to be using a thinner polycarbonate on the Lumia 928, reserving its aluminum frames for future Lumia devices including the EOS and Catwalk. The Lumia 928 will be slightly thinner than the Lumia 920, measuring 10.2mm at its thinnest point and 11.2mm at its thickest with a slightly curved back. The Lumia 928 also sports a 4.5-inch OLED display and support for simultaneous voice and LTE (SVLTE).

Lol @ waterfalls. web, graphic, and print media design is all heading one direction.... responsive, clean, simplistic layouts. these types of layouts get the job done faster, perform more with less resources, and can adapt to any media scenario i.e. smartphone, widescreen, tabet magazine...blah blah blah. Tomorrow something new WILL be invented that will completely change the landscape....and the year after that...and the year after that... Why make a ton of graphics for a specialized usage scenario that will be outdated in 6 months. its impossible to maintain and update, creates frgmentation, and just doesnt look as good. Felxible Flexible Flexible. Clean. Tidy. Effective Im a web developer and graphic designer. That sells to my clients in a major way, And soon, it will be what they come to expect. i suggest you go back to the 90's put some LED's in your computer and update your windows XP with a new theme to emulate vista. Ives, set a new bar and shut these fools up...android can keep its shitty rainbow ui skins.

Does JONY IVES really want to make iOS7 with FLAT boring iCONS like we see in the WINDOWS TILES? It would be so wrong... and not differentiating the platform nor would it help the user. It Might look simple - but that is the beauty of iOS... the system is so simple so pure - dressing up and appearing complex makes it far more exciting. Dumbing down the UI to a sterilized "helvetica" sans style WOULD only strip away what Apple has offered the world. And worse appear as not a leader but a follower. Jony should be very careful - and doing so could mean his job.
