On its earnings call today, Verizon announced a 25% increase in iPhone activations year-over-year for the last quarter, reports BusinessInsider.
In total the company says it activated 4 million iPhones, that's more that half its total 7.2 million smartphone activations for the quarter.
On the call, it said half of its iPhone activations were 3G, the other half was LTE. The iPhone 5 is the only iPhone with LTE, so it looks like half of its activations were iPhone 5s. Verizon reported the exact same breakdown in iPhone sales last quarter, as well.
