Microsoft Posts Some Crazy New Windows 8 Ads [Videos]

Microsoft has posted some crazy new ads for its Windows 8 operating system. The ad campaign is entitled 'Windows 8 Training Camp' and features three spots: 'Makeup', 'Piano', and 'Watermelon'.

Notably, they are not in English because, as it turns out, they were posted by mistake, notes The Verge.

According to a company spokesperson, the videos were made for Asian markets and posted to Microsoft’s general channel by mistake, where they were discovered by the rest of the internet. Just imagine what they could do on purpose.

The ads are definitely memorable. Microsoft appears to be stepping up its ad game lately. It recently posted a great ad touting Windows Phone and the Nokia Lumia over the iPhone and Galaxy.

1) Beauty & Fast - incomprehensible (don't understand Japanese) very lame commercial 2) Work & Play - playing table tennis and playing the piano - neither working 3) The Power of Touch - interesting yet Apple dominates Multi Touch patents and the commercial suggests the power of visualization not touch. These Ads are mildly entertaining, not memorable, not all that funny - I would also point out they fail to to distinguish the benefits of the Windows 8 OS - other then mentioning Beauty & Fast, Work & Play and Touch... so - So does Android and iOS. FAIL
