Dubai's Burj Al Arab hotel has announced that they will provide each guest their own 24-carat gold iPad for use during their stay. Guests of the "world's only 7-Star hotel" will be able to use the iPad as a "virtual concierge" providing information on all the Burj Al Arab has to offer, reports the Huffington Post.
Heinrich Morio, Burj Al Arab’s general manager, said: "Our exclusive Burj Al Arab 24-carat gold iPads epitomise Jumeirah’s philosophy of 'stay different' and further enhance our guests’ experience during their stay."
Amjad Ali, CEO of Gold & Co. London who made the iPads, said: "The 24-carat Gold Plated iPad is the ultimate in luxury accessories so it’s only natural that we wanted it to be paired with Burj Al Arab, the world’s finest hotel. The symmetry is obvious: Both the Gold Plated iPad and the hotel are unique in terms of quality, mystique and dare we say: Decadence. Quite simply, there is no hotel in the world like the Burj Al Arab and there is no accessory quite like the gold plated iPad."
The hotel also features an iMac in each of its rooms. Rates start at £985 per night and run up to £12,339 per night for the Royal Suite.

Hello people... It is a hotel. It isn't Arabs filling the hotel, it is the rich people from all over the world. They made a hotel that is a destination that even the super rich want to go to. They aren't making this stuff to waste money, it is an investment.

John I don't see how your comment is relevant to the topic. And can you please point out your observations when it comes to poor people and how they are being handled in Dubai?
You're trying to get attention with your question and maybe you are just jealous of the success of Dubai and as many others like you only trying to focus on the bad sides (which are few).
I suggest you run a simple search in Google to see what Dubai have offered and still offering not only to the people of Dubai and UAE but also to the whole world.
I suggest you start with this search related to "Dubai Cares".
Thank you
